Basharat (Urdu: بشارت) is a village and union council of Chakwal District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan, it is part of Choa Saidan Shah Tehsil.[1]
It is home to several coal mines[2] as well as Chehel Abdal Peak, the second highest peak in the Salt Range at the height of 3,701 ft.[3]
