Back to the Wall (French: Le dos au mur) is a 1958 French crime drama film directed by Édouard Molinaro and starring Jeanne Moreau, Gérard Oury and Philippe Nicaud.[1][2] It was shot at the Saint-Maurice Studios in Paris and on location around the city. The film's sets were designed by the art director Georges Lévy.[3]
Synopsis
Jacques Decrey, a wealthy industrialist, discords that his wife Gloria is having an affair with a younger man. He begins to send her blackmail letters, pretending that they are written by her lover Yves. Confronting him, she attempts suicide. While disarming her he is accidentally killed.
