Babiana foliosa is a perennial flowering plant and geophyte belonging to the genus Babiana and is part of the renosterveld.[1] The species is endemic to the Western Cape and is considered extinct. It occurred in the Riviersonderend Mountains, it was last seen in 1951. Most of its habitat is used for grain cultivation.[2]
