The club was founded in 2002. The predecessor clubs were AD EDM Torrelavega and BMT Cuatrocaños.^[2] Since the 2021/2022 season, the team has been playing in the highest Spanish league, Liga ASOBAL.^[3] In 2024, the team reached the final of the Copa del Rey, where the best Spanish team won the silver medal against FC Barcelona.^[4]
