Athetis ignava is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Southern and Eastern Africa, including the islands of the Indian Ocean.

The wingspan is approx. 30–35 mm

Host plant: Acacia mearnsii De Wild. (Fabaceae)[2]
