Arslanbek Salimov (born 3 May 2002) is a Polish Greco-Roman wrestler of Chechen origin, competing in the 67 kg weight class. He won a bronze medal at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships held in Zagreb, Croatia.[1]
Career
Salimov began wrestling at a young age in Chechnya before moving to Poland, where he represents the Polish national Greco-Roman wrestling team.[2]
At the 2025 European Wrestling Championships, he competed in the men's 67 kg category and earned a bronze medal after a strong performance in the repechage round.[3]
He also won a bronze medal at the Polish National Wrestling Championships alongside his brother Mairbek Salimov, marking a significant achievement for their family.[4]
