Armungia (Sardinian: Armùngia) is a village and comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Cagliari. It has 399 inhabitants.[3]
Armungia borders the municipalities of Ballao, San Nicolò Gerrei, Villaputzu, and Villasalto.
Demographics
As of 2025, the population is 399, of which 53.1% are male, and 46.9% are female. Minors make up 8% of the population, and seniors make up 37.8%.[4]

Immigration
Of the 394 residents at the time of the most recent count that included countries of birth, residents' countries of birth included the following countries, in descending order of frequency: Italy (379 – 96.2%), Germany (5 – 1.3%), France (4 – 1%).[7]
