Armando Tamayo Torres (died October 1930) was a Chilean politician and member of the Democratic Party.[1]

He served briefly as a deputy representing the Sixth Departamental Grouping (Valparaíso, Quillota, Limache and Casablanca) during the 1930–1934 legislative period.[1]

Political career

Tamayo was elected deputy for the Sixth Departamental Grouping (Valparaíso, Quillota, Limache and Casablanca) for the 1930–1934 legislative period.[2]

During his time in Congress he served on the Commission on Budgets and Objected Decrees.[1]

He died in October 1930 while still serving as deputy and was replaced in Congress by Óscar Ruiz Tagle.[1]

The 1932 Chilean coup d'état later led to the dissolution of the National Congress on 6 June of that year.[1]
