José Armando Reséndiz García (born February 15, 1999) is a Mexican professional boxer who has held the World Boxing Association (WBA) super middleweight title since 2026.

Resendiz vs. Plant

Resendiz turned professional in 2018 and compiled a record of 15–2 before facing Caleb Plant for the WBA interim super-middleweight title, Resendiz would win via split decision.[1][2] He was elevated to full champion on 1 January 2026, after the title became vacant following Terence Crawford's retiriment.[3]

Resendiz vs. Munguía

Resendiz is scheduled to make the first defense of the WBA super middleweight title against Jaime Munguía in Las Vegas, NV, on May 2, 2026.[4][5]
