Antiguraleus morgana is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Mangeliidae.[1]
Description
The length of the shell attains 9.1 mm, its diameter 3.3 mm.
Antiguraleus morgana inhabits sandy seabeds off the coast of South Africa at depths of about 40 to 100 meters. It feeds on small benthic invertebrates and plays a role in the coastal marine food web. [2]
Distribution
This marine species occurs off East Cape Province to Transkei, South Africa
The species is found along the eastern coast of South Africa, where it occupies soft marine sediments and contributes to the region’s overall molluscan diversity.
