Alistair Taylor[1] (born 12 September 2001) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Muirkirk.
Career
Born in Greenock,[2] Taylor made his first team debut for Kilmarnock in February 2020, while his brother Greg was playing for their opponents Celtic.[3] On 1 June 2020, he declined a new contract and was due to leave the club.[4] However, on 11 June 2020 he signed a new one-year contract with Kilmarnock.[5] Taylor was loaned to Stranraer in March 2021.[6] He left Kilmarnock at the end of the 2020–21 season.[7]
He joined Alloa Athletic in the summer of 2021 but did not make any appearances and later joined Benburb in the West of Scotland Football League.[2] Following a short spell with Port Glasgow in early 2025,[8] Taylor signed for Muirkirk in August that year.[9][10]
Personal life
His older brother Greg Taylor is also a footballer.[3]
