Aiysha Hart is a British–Saudi actress, known for her breakout TV roles as Ariadne in the BBC drama series Atlantis and DS Sam Railston in Line of Duty, as well as her film work, including Colette. She also stars as Princess Hind in the upcoming epic film Desert Warrior.
Early life
Hart's father is from Saudi Arabia and her mother is British. She lived in Saudi Arabia until she was three before moving to the United Kingdom and being raised in Surrey.[1][2] Hart graduated with First Class Honours in English Literature from King's College London.[3] Hart speaks Arabic “semi-fluently”.[4] She briefly considered becoming a lawyer prior to her acting career.[5]
Activism
In September 2025, Hart signed an open pledge with Film Workers for Palestine pledging not to work with Israeli film institutions "that are implicated in genocide and apartheid against the Palestinian people".[6]
