Agassiz Youth Centre (AYC) is a youth detention centre in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada. The centre opened in 1977 and it closed on July 22 2022. Incarceration rates have dropped by 73% over nine years leaving it at 30% capacity by the time of it's closing.[2] It was demolished in December 2022.[3][1]
