Abe Bueno-Jallad
Abe Bueno-Jallad (also credited as Abe Martell)[1] is an American actor best known for portraying apostle James the Great in the television series The Chosen.
Early life
Bueno-Jallad was born in El Paso, Texas[2] on 10 June 1988.[3] He was raised in Mexico and in the American southwest.[2] He worked on a psychiatric research grant in New Mexico.[2] He received his MFA in acting from the USC School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.[2]
Career
Bueno-Jallad has been acting in both Spanish and English language films since he was 18.[2] He joined the cast of The Chosen in Season 2.[4] He said he explored the Bible more deeply since then.[4] Initially, he auditioned for three other roles before he got this one.[4]
Personal life
Bueno-Jallad is married and has one son.[5] He speaks Spanish, English and some Arabic.[2]
