Abdymalik Karachov (Абдымалик Карачов; born 2 December 2001) is a Kyrgyz freestyle wrestler.[1]

Career

In 2024, Karachov won the silver medal at the 2024 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana and the gold medal at the 2024 Asian U23 Wrestling Championships in Amman.[2] Earlier in his career, he also won the bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Cadet Championships.[3]

Karachov won the gold medal at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh in the men's freestyle 57 kg event. During the tournament, he defeated Uzbekistan's Gulomjon Abdullaev, a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games and the 2025 World Championships, as well as Guinea's Mohamed Kamara to advance to the final. In the gold medal match, he defeated Azerbaijan's Islam Bazarhanov, a bronze medalist at the 2025 European Championships, by a score of 9–3.[4]
