AbdulRazzaq AbdulMajeed Alaro is a Nigerian professor of law with the specialization in Islamic Law of Financial Transactions (Banking, Insurance & Capital Market).[4] He has served as the head of department of Islamic Law, University of Ilorin.[5][6]

Career

In 2008, he joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State, as a Senior Lecturer. As the Director of Quality Assurance at the University of Ilorin, he was appointed Chairman of the Takaful Insurance Advisory Council of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).[7][8]

He has also served in the Advisory Board of the Online Journal of Islamic Management and Finance (OJIMF) of the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, an appointment effective for two years.[9]
