The A22 is a currently in construstion Motorway planned to bypass the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia starting from the industrial zone of Dali to the A9 near the closed Nicosia International Airport, when it is completed. The first stage of the motorway from the junction at A1 motorway to the junction north of Tseri is completed.[1] The second stage of the project includes plans for a tunnel below Lakatamia. Further plans also include a connection road to Geri from the junction with A1.[2]
