The 35th PMPC Star Awards for Movies by the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC), honored the best Filipino films of 2018. The ceremony took place on June 2, 2019 at New Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila.[1]
The PMPC Star Awards for Movies was hosted by Iza Calzado, Gelli de Belen, Kathryn Bernardo , Aljur Abrenica, Robi Domingo and Arci Munoz. Rainbow's Sunset won the biggest awards including Movie of the Year, Movie Director of the Year and Movie Ensemble Acting of the Year, while Citizen Jake won the Indie Movie of the Year, Indie Movie Ensemble of the Year and Indie Movie Director of the Year.[2][3][4]
