The 2026 season is Rosenborg's 47th consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, their 58th season in the top flight of Norwegian football. In addition to the Eliteserien, the club is participating in the Norwegian Cup 2025–26 and Norwegian Cup 2026–27. This is Alfred Johansson's third season in charge of Rosenborg.
