Roster changes
- AP Bren acquired EXP laner Kielvj from the China Masters' DFYG, returning to MPL Philippines since he last played for Smart Omega in Season 10 (2022). He replaces LordJM. Former RSG Philippines assistant coach Giee also joins as head coach coming from MPL LATAM's Influence Rage, replacing Jeff who moved to Team Flash in MPL Malaysia.[1]
- Smart Omega acquired mid laner Minguin and roamer Perkziva, both from the disbanded MDL team RRQ Kaito, replacing Hadji and Super Yoshi, respectively. Super Yoshi would eventually join MPL Malaysia's RRQ Tora.[1]
- Team Falcons PH acquired mid laner Hadji from Smart Omega, replacing Pheww who is put on loan to EVOS Esports of MPL Indonesia. Ducky was appointed as the team's new head coach following his departure from AP Bren before Season 15 (2025) with Trebor becoming inactive, while Vr3n joins him as analyst coming from China's Guangzhou Gaming.[2]
- Twisted Minds PH kept their main roster and staff, but gold laner Owl from Guangzhou Gaming replaced jungler Sensui as the team's lone substitute.[3]
- Onic Philippines signed Indonesian gold laner Savero, making him the first import to play in MPL Philippines. He replaced five-time all-star Kelra, who joined their MPL Indoensia counterpart earlier in the off-season. Haze was promoted to head coach after YnoT left for Natus Vincere in Indonesia while Bluffzy joins as analyst after his stint with Geek Fam ID.[4]
- The TNC Pro Team didn't make any changes to their main roster, but mid laner Stowm from Malaysia's Untitled Esports replaced Vinjaz as substitute.[5]
- MLBB M7 World Championship winners Aurora Gaming PH are the only team to retain their entire roster and staff.
- Back-to-back MPL Philippines champions Team Liquid PH underwant significant changes. Oheb will take a break from competition, with Indonesian gold laner AeronnShikii, who is on a loan from Team Liquid ID, taking his place in the meantime.[6][7] The team also named two new substitutes following Perkziva's transfer to Omega in gold laner Daiki from their academy team and mid laner Santi coming from MPL MENA's Team Occupy. TLPH's coaching staff underwent a significant change, with Singaporean coach Aeon and Smart Omega analyst SN4P joining the team as head coach and assistant coach, respectively, parting ways with head coach Ar Sy and analyst Tictac.[8]
The regular season will feature a double round-robin tournament, where each team will play two best-of-three matches against all other teams for a total of seven matches. The top six teams will advance to the playoffs. Teams ranked third through sixth will play a single match to determine which teams join the top two in the double-elimination tournament. All matches will be best-of-five except for the lower bracket finals and grand finals will be best-of-seven. The two finalists will qualify for the 2026 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.[9]

Notable events
On February 28, 2026, as part of Sibol's preparations for the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, the team tapped the services of Michael "Arcadia" Bocado from the Selangor Red Giants, Francis "Ducky" Glindro from Team Falcons PH, and Denver "Yeb" Miranda from Onic Indonesia to go alongside the coaching staff led by Onic Philippines head coach Anthony “Ynot” Senedrin.[10] The following day, however, after YnoT's depature to Natus Vincere and roster changes involving Onic Philippines' Kelra and Team Liquid PH's Oheb led to Sibol announced another round of qualifiers.[11]
