The 2026 Giro d'Italia will be the 109th edition of the Giro d'Italia, a three-week Grand Tour cycling stage race. The race will start on 8 May in Nessebar, Bulgaria and will finish on 31 May in Rome.[1]

Teams

Twenty-three teams will participate in the race. All 18 UCI WorldTeams were automatically invited. They were joined by five UCI ProTeams.[2]

The official route was announced on 1 December 2025, with the first three stages taking place in Bulgaria.[1]
