- Hayato Shimizu, incumbent independent mayor since 2009.[1]
- Satoshi Nishiuchi, supported by the Conservative Party of Japan.[2]
- Ryo Sawada, independent (former member of Japan Restoration Party).[2]
- Yoshimitsu Kagawa, supported by the Japanese Communist Party (JCP).[2]
- Nariaki Obukuro, independent musician.[3]
