The 2025 Kalundborg Municipal election was held on November 18, 2025, to elect the 27 members to sit in the regional council for the Kalundborg Municipal council, in the Danish city of Kalundborg, in the period of 2026 to 2029.[1] Martin Damm from Venstre, would secure re-election. [2]
Background
Following the 2021 election, Martin Damm from Venstre became mayor for his fourth term. [3] He would run for a fifth term. [4]
Electoral system
For elections to Danish municipalities, a number varying from 9 to 31 are chosen to be elected to the municipal council. The seats are then allocated using the D'Hondt method and a closed list proportional representation. Kalundborg Municipality had 27 seats in 2025.
