The 1950 Cyclo-cross World Championship was the inaugural edition of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships.[1]
It was held on Saturday, March 4, 1950, in the suburbs of Paris, on a 23,25 kilometer course on the Gravelle Plateau.[2] Riders from six countries, each with four participants, participated.[3] The race was won by 29-year old Jean Robic.[4]
