The 1924 Dublin Senior Hurling Championship was the 37th staging of the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Dublin County Board in 1887.[1] The draw for the opening round fixtures took place on 11 February 1924. The championship ran from 9 March to 20 April 1924.
Faughs entered the championship as the defending champions and in search of a record-equalling fifth consecutive title, however, they were beaten by Young Irelands in the first round.[2][3]
The final was played on 20 April 1924 at Croke Park in Dublin, between Kickhams and Young Irelands, in what was their first ever meeting in the final.[4] Kickhams won the match by 6–07 to 5–02 to claim their fourth championship title overall and a first title in 16 years.[5]
