  • 27 April – Carl Nielsen's first choral work, Hymnus amoris, completed the previous year, receives its première at the Music Society (Musikforeningen) in Copenhagen, with the composer conducting. Viggo Bielefeldt, Tia Krëtma and Katie Adler are the soloists.[3]
