Žakarovce is a village and municipality in the Gelnica District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia. In 2011 the village had 723 inhabitants.[4]

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 533 metres (1,749 ft)[3] and covers an area of 8.63 km2 (3.33 sq mi) (2024).[5]
