Çaush (Albanian definite form: Çaushi; Greek: Τσαούσι; romanized: Tsaoúsi) is a village in Vlorë County, southern Albania.[2] At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality of Finiq.[3]
Etymology
The name of the village is of Albanian origin.[4]
Demographics
According to Ottoman statistics, the village had 128 inhabitants in 1895.[5] The village is inhabited by Greeks and the population was 718 in 1992.[6]
